PURPOSE OF ROLE The efficient organisation, management and control of the Group`s Lending Service Centre by:- - Leadership and management of staff. - Continual monitoring and review of working practices to improve effectiveness, create productivity gains and develop new initiatives. - Achievement of corporate, team and personal objectives. - Management and quality control of Group lending to new and existing Society and NYML borrowers. - Maintain service levels to Branches, Business Development Managers and Direct Mortgage Centre.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS OR ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - To A level Standard. - Degree or appropriate professional qualification (ACIB preferred). - Full UK Driving Licence. - CeMAP qualified or prepared to study for the qualification preferred. - Two years financial services industry. People management and team leadership. - Minimum five years mortgage related experience (minimum of two of these in a senior management position preferred).
AUTHORITY LEVELS - Budget Controller - As defined in Society Procedure Manuals - Cheque signatory (within mandate). - Authorisation of invoices for payment up to Ј2,500. - Authorisation of new loans as per Society Lending Policy. - Authorisation of funds release on new completions. - Authorisation of cases outside guidelines. - Authorisation to witness the Society`s seal.
This is an Interim Manager vacancy for a minimum of 6 to 9 months. The salary is upto Ј37,500 but is negotiable dependent upon experience and suitability to the role. There may be assistance provide with travelling, accomodation and possible relocation costs.
